Hi everyone,

I’m set to graduate in December 2026 with a BBA in Accounting. My current GPA is a 3.0. I’m honestly a bit intimidated by the civilian job market and I’m looking for a career that offers independence, stability, and a bit of adventure.

I am specifically interested in Officer roles but I have a few questions:

• With a 3.0 GPA in Accounting and a minor internships would I even be selected if I really wanted it?
• Are there specific roles that utilize my accounting background (like Finance or Logistics), or is it better to look at general leadership roles?
• Any insight from current Officers or those who have gone through the OCS/OTS board process recently would be greatly appreciated!
