I currently drive a E90 320d and with diesel prices the way they are and driving the cars for about 15 years, I think the time has come to change my ride and decided to be part of the EV wave. I have a Hyundai Tucson as my family car hence this will be a secondary car.

I drive about 300km a week and charging in my condo is pretty reasonable. Monthly subscription of RM180 for unlimited AC charging provided by the management.

I have test driven a bunch of budget EV cars like the emas5 and 7, the mg4 and 5s, the icaur03, the atto3 and both the B10 and seal6.

To me I really fell that both this cars have a great mix of good driving feel, premiumish finish, and acceptable tech

To me

The seal 6 drives really nice and is comfortable. Being a sedan it is a seamless transition and the torque in sports mode is really addictive. The OS is very intuitive and polished and the sound system is good for the price. However there is a small iroortating thing with how thin the seatbelt is. Not a deal-breaker but it's seriously the thinnest seatbelt I have ever put on. Am getting a really good deal for the 2025 model with good rebates but not a colour that I want.

The B10 surprisingly drives really well for a smaller SUV and the finishing inside the car is fantastic for the price. It's just the NFC cars entry is a little annoying and there is also the question on its longevity here in Malaysia.

Would like to hear some thoughts on existing seal 6 and B10 drivers and their experience?
