Hey everyone! I've been looking into doing a complete teardown and rebuild of a Les Paul but it got me thinking, since I dont have an acoustic and I really want to get one, instead of buying one, why dont I make my own? I know its a big task but would I be able to do it in my own home? What tools would I need? Is there anything in particular I would need to know before making this guitar?

The other thing (and arguably more important) how would the dimensions of a Les Paul work out as an acoustic? I have no intention of doing any performances with it, it would only be like a bedroom guitar but would the body shape, size, and thickness be a problem at all?
