Here is a PSA for anyone requesting a refund on the Air France website - they do NOT provide a confirmation page saying what the refund amount will be prior to initiating it. Once the refund is initiated, there is no was to cancel or reverse the request.
I learned this a painful way... I had a flight booked to Beirut for May 10th. Last week, it was advertised that Air France was issuing vouchers for flights to Beirut during this time. I was clicking through the refund process to see what my refund would have been vs. getting a voucher. I proceeded too far, and initiated the refund request (assuming I would have been shown a refund amount before confirming). I ended up only getting a ~30% refund - which I would not have proceeded with had I known in advance. I am sure there would have been a way for me to work out my refund entitlement by looking at my fare details and invoice, but I sincerely expected there to be at least a confirmation page.
Today, my original flight was canceled - and all other passengers (but me) are receiving a full refund. I contacted Air France, and they have had 0 empathy for my situation.
