I'm applying to TEFL jobs in China and my recruiter requested that my degree and background check both attested by the Chinese embassy. I live in the U.S., in Georgia. Am I required to travel to get Washington DC to have the embassy verify the documents? Also do I need to do a notary and apostle here in Georgia for those documents before traveling?

I’m looking to visit the Philippines for a few days during the last week of June. Will the weather be okay enough to go or is it not worth it since it’s near typhoon season? I want to enjoy the beach and have it be sunny during my trip. With it being so expensive I don’t want to spend the money if it’s going to be raining or cloudy the whole time.
