My school has a program where students work to make a prototype from nasa patents. Our patent was about the carbon fiber part of the gear. We all knew the tooth profile is not ideal, we just wanted it to be easily manufactured
The metal parts were not the goal of the patent.
There were some things i wanted to do but the rest of the team did not.
I wanted to use a premade cad file for the outside of the gear.
I also wanted to use a vaccuum bag earlier, they insisted we did another a wet lay
Overall, it was a success and we delivered the prototype on time
This is the part after the elbow road intersection going towards kellam.
How the hell are they stable? It feels like a boat on rough waters at 50 to 60.
Ive seen a truck do it multiple times too.
I think i saw people in the back one time
I want to have paper maps for navigation because i find it more fun. I dont know where to go to get/make paper maps for a specific area. I tried using google earth but it is either behind a paywall or not for printing.
I want to get a 1 to 5 candela light to illuminate the inside of my tent just enough to see but not enough to keep me awake.
I used a chemlight last time but i want to try something else because there was not enough contrast last time
I would perfer a warm white color for contrast
Thanks in advance
I want to make a margarita that is 80 proof. It should be possible. My problem is finding 80 proof lime liqueur.
Is it possible to proof up triple sec and lime liqueur? If so how?
I know they make tequila stonger than 100 proof so that would help make up for other weaker ingredients.
I do not plan on drinking this more than once unless i get used to it.
I have 84mm wheels and was skating in a rink with what looks and feels like laminated "wood" or real wood that feels nothing like normal hardwood floors. I am not yet able to do crossovers so i was just coasting through the turns but it felt like the outside skate was losing grip causing me to turn wider than i wanted.
Most of my weight was on the outside skate
Also earlier it felt like the back 2 wheels were skipping during tighter turns.
Is this normal or because the wheels are cheap

My 2013 fusion se hybrid just hit 200k miles and the suspention might be starting to go out.
I am trying to find shocks/coilovers/bags (maybe) that can be as soft as stock and can be adjusted to be more sporty (yes i know my car weighs 3600lbs and is FWD). I have tried looking online but i am just getting oem replacement parts.
I am considering bags because i want to have the option to lower it, however my other car guy friends say it would make its handling worse when lowered.
What additional maintenence and services should i do?
How do i fix this? I wasnt pulling particularly hard
I just went to an indoor rink after exclusivley skating outdoors and it is apparent that i need seperate indoor and outdoor wheels. The ones i currently have (84mm 82a) are still good outdoors, but indoors one side had 60% grip and the outside has 100% which feels like 150% compared to the skates i first learned on with 80mm 82a wheels.
I could feel that the grip was starting to go out in tight turns and on exit it sometimes would have suddenly more grip than i was expecting (skill issue)
Should i get another set of 82a wheels or go harder or softer? Are 90a 80mm wheels faster?
I have found some wheels that are 82mm 76a that are marketed as indoor speed wheels. Woupd thise be a good choice?
I am still very new to this
When it started it felt like shooting nerve pain whenever i pushed with the ball of my foot more than i normally do. It is less painful now, but it is stipp concerning.
Has this happened to any of you and how long does it take to go away?
