A dealership tried to sell me a car that:
*Has a higher trim level than the Carfax states.
*The last entry on the Carfax I purchased states "Exported from Canada" 2 months ago, while the dealer supplied one omits this.
*The Carfax that I purchased states lower mileage at a later date than the carfax the dealer supplied.
I've called the cops to try to get the vehicle confiscated, as it is clearly a VIN cloned unit. They have done nothing. Is there anything else I can do? Or do I just stand by as someone else gets taken for a ride?
