I’ve got about 13 months left on my Sky broadband contract with Sky UK, but I’m moving in with my in-laws who already have WiFi with EE.
I don’t need another broadband line, and we won’t be installing a second one at the house. I’ve been trying to check availability using Sky’s moving home tool, but it seems to say “available” for basically every postcode I try.
I was originally hoping to find a postcode/address where Sky genuinely isn’t available so I could cancel without big early termination fees — but that’s not working so far.
Has anyone:
- Successfully cancelled Sky early due to moving into a house that already has broadband?
- Found any actual UK addresses/postcodes where Sky broadband is genuinely unavailable?
- Got Sky to waive or reduce exit fees in a similar situation?
Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated!
