Is two kindles too excessive?

edit - thank you everyone who replied so quickly. I really appreciate the input and those of you sharing that you have multiple and people suggesting other brands. I’m going to look into some other brands tonight and decide but I lean towards the kindle because I use KU all the time (I read 260-280 books a year and half are KU) so thats why I stick with Amazon Specifically for KU (physical books are Waterstones and I use Amazon for as little as possible otherwise). I can get a bit anxious then have decision paralysis sometimes so I appreciate the input. Also I can give it away to family if I don’t use it as I don’t mind being out the money if I don’t use something but someone I know will get the benefit.

I have a kindle paperwhite signature edition. I travel a lot for work and person stuff, which is fine taking the paperwhite in my sling bag but I want to carry a kindle around during the day to read at work and while I am waiting at things as currently I read a lot on the app on my phone and I want more distance to my phone. I think I would benefit from the basic when I travel and on a day to day basis in my bag and just leave my PWS on my bedside table. I can get the kindle basic even cheaper due to an upgrade offer (long story) so it’s £83. Thoughts? I have decision paralysis
