Seeking Technical Co-Founder (equity only) — AI Writing Governance SaaS
Hey guys. I hope you will take a few minutes to review this opportunity.
If you've spent any time in AI writing communities you already know the problem. Writers using AI for long-form work... novels, non-fiction, screenplays... have no reliable way to maintain continuity across sessions. Every new chat starts from scratch. Characters drift. World rules get forgotten. Timelines contradict. Prompt engineering helps but it's exhausting, fragile, and scales poorly.
I've built a solution to this within a product rather than a workaround.
NarrativeWorks is a writing content management system with an embedded AI governance layer. It maintains structured, writer-validated content for each project and provides virtually seamless flow of structured context to the writer's external AI of choice. Nothing is generated autonomously. Nothing changes without explicit writer approval. The system advises. The writer decides. Always.
The product is fully conceived. UI/UX spec is substantially complete. Field architecture is documented. Core feature set is defined. Domain is registered. This is not an idea. It is a documented product ready to build.
I'm a Canadian writing hobbyist and retired businessperson. I built this concept because I experienced the problem firsthand writing four books in a little over a year using AI to assist. I bring the product thinking, the domain knowledge, and the go-to-market strategy, and business management skills to the project.
I need a technical co-founder who brings the build.
The stack: React / Next.js, Node.js, REST API integration, local file storage, document parsing, TipTap editor integration.
The arrangement: Equity partnership. Full product documentation available to serious candidates.
If this kind of problem solving interests you and you want to build something genuinely useful for a large and underserved community of writers, DM me. I will provide you with an Executive Summary and then let's talk further.
