I’ve just received a letter for demand of repayment from my health insurance that requested me to pay an amount of money that was directly deposited into my account because their system has incorrectly assessed my claims for a while. The thing is that it’s quite a large amount of money and I don’t have the total amount right away. I have replied to their email to ask if I could repay the amount in installments. Does anyone know if insurance companies normally accept repayment in installments in cases like these? And if I manage to pay out the amount, will the case be escalated to police?
