I am looking for you opions and/or guidance.
I am on PC, using ASUS ROG Strix XG32UCWG monitor (Gaming HDR mode with locked brightness at 90). I have calibrated Windows HDR. I have read most of reddit posts on HDR for beginners. Everything is (or at least seems) to be set up properly.
I am mostly playing single player games, like Crimson Desert on Stalker 2. I am using RenoDX mods wherever they are available. But I am encountering this thing, where night scenes are super dark. Obviously super dark/black scenes on my oled look super dark and beautiful, but at the same time it becomes so dark, that it's kind of a problem while playing during daytime.
So I am looking for you opinions, suggestions, maybe something I can try.
There's this slider under RenoDX "Game Brightness", which I don't fully understand. Suppose it should be 203 or as low as possible. Is that my solution?
