Has anyone been able to successfully ask a female author who’s in their 30s why they want to write teenagers as their main characters who have tons of sex? They all run away or dodge the question and I’m dying to know!

Has anyone gotten any answer from an author? I genuinely want to know. It’s not a set up to berate them or judge them to their face. I’ve just been wracking my brain for so long and I’ve never gotten an answer from anyone.
