• How is the pay compared to the west, or in platforms like fiverr or upwork?

To be honest, the gap between the skills required and the salaries offered is getting ridiculous. We’re talking about people mastering React, Python, and Cloud Architecture only to be offered 6,000–8,000 DH in some "prestigious" local firms.

With the cost of living rising in cities like Casa and Rabat, how are junior (and even mid-level) devs supposed to survive?

• Are you staying in Morocco and fighting for better pay?
• Have you switched to freelance/remote work for international clients?
• Or is the plan just to get 2 years of experience and "dir l'kharij" (leave for abroad)?
