I am interested in kitting out as much as my roof in solar panels with batteries as I can manage.

Mainly to run my 4 bed house with 2 kids and 2 adults but I am at early stages of looking into electric cars as well.

Now I fully own my house it faces south/west and other than one bedroom having a peak it unobstructed and at 43 I dont plan to move again.

Are Home Energy Scotland doing any loans? I know there no grants but it be easier stomach the cost with a low/0% intrest loan.

Also what are best panels inverter and battery to look at to maximise storage and generation. I probably fit maybe max 12 panels on one side possibly
