HELP PLEASE!!! I recently applied for a Pharmacy Technician/Apprenticeship at Walgreens. A couple of days later, I received a call from this location asking me when I'd be available for an interview. I went in for an interview the following day, and on my way home, I received an offer letter. Upon accepting this offer, I was sent an email stating that I had to call the store to schedule my drug test within 48 hours. I called and scheduled the drug test for the following day and was told I'd receive forms to fill out by the following Monday, along with a call from the hiring manager. Fast forward a week has passed since the drug test and still no call, I took it upon myself to call and the hiring manager told me that I was being entered into the system but it was taking longer than usual and she'd let me know why later that day when she had time to check in but wanted to make sure I was available the next week (I called on a Thursday). Fast forward to today, another week later, I called on Tuesday to speak to the store manager, who told me to call back around 2 pm as she was currently on the floor. I did, and she was no longer available. Since she was no longer available, I asked for the hiring manager who had interviewed me. They told me to give them a moment, but once again said she wasn't available either, but to leave them my name and number, and they'll make sure she calls me later. It's now Thursday, 2 weeks after my drug test and background check, and I have yet to hear back about this position. Should I be worried? Is this normal? Should I move on from this opportunity?
