Some nights feel heavier than others

Some nights feel heavier than others

Some nights feel heavier than others, and keeping up the appearance of being "fine" can be exhausting. So many of us—especially young adults—silently struggle with anxiety, burnout, and loneliness in a fast-paced world.

That’s why we created Simpli Human, an early-stage startup with a simple mission: to make emotional wellness safe, accessible, and affordable.

Simpli Human is a safe space to slow down and reconnect with yourself through:

✨ Mood & Goal Tracking

📖 Private Journaling & Mindful Reflection

🗣️ Echo & Release: Anonymously share your feelings and connect with a supportive community without fear of judgment.

💚 Mental Health Awareness Month Special: We are offering up to 78% off select premium features so financial pressure doesn't stand in the way of getting support.

More than just an app, we want to build a movement where mental health conversations are normal and no one has to struggle alone. We’d love for you to try Simpli Human, share your feedback, and help us grow this community!

Some nights feel heavier than others.

Some nights feel heavier than others.

The kind where you’re lying in bed replaying conversations.

Where you keep saying “I’m fine” because explaining how you actually feel is just… too much.

A lot of people our age are dealing with anxiety, burnout, loneliness, or just feeling emotionally numb. And most of the time, nobody around us even notices.

I went through a phase like that recently, and it made me realize how hard it is to find a space where you can just slow down and process things without feeling judged or “fixed.”

That’s actually what led me to start building a small app focused on emotional wellbeing — mostly for people who feel overwhelmed but don’t necessarily want traditional therapy right away.

One thing I’ve been experimenting with is a feature where people can anonymously share what they’re feeling and just be heard. No advice required. Just… being seen.

I’m still early in this and trying to build it in a way that actually helps, not just adds more noise.

So I’m curious:

What actually helps you on nights like this?

Is it journaling, talking to someone, distractions, or something else?

Also, if anyone is open to trying something like this and giving honest feedback, I’d genuinely appreciate it. I can share the link if that’s okay with the mods here.
