So I (F20) have been seeing this guy (M29) it’s semi casual and we’ve having sex for about 8 months. I usually give him a BJ before we have sex pretty much almost every time actually. He lets me do my own thing for a while, will hold my hair/push my head a little (in a good way) but then he always ends up jerking himself off for a while, sometimes until he’s about to cum if we’re not having sex, while he does that i either am there with my tounge out touching the tip looking at him, focusing on his balls, or sometimes i’ll suck on the tip while he’s got the rest and then he’ll push me down all the way like 2-3 seconds before he cums. So my (20F) dad (47M) was killed in a car accident in August of 2025. This was obviously unexpected and his finances/important paperwork was not in order at all and everything in general was extremely chaotic so it took us a little while to file the claim. We contacted gerber in maybe september/october and then got the full claim with all the paperwork in sometime before Christmas. I am the beneficiary on the policy so should be no issues there. I called probably 2-3 times between then and february to check on the status and they kept telling me it’s pending. Then in early february they sent me a letter saying they needed a new death certificate because the one i had originally sent in had “pending further investigation” under the cause of death section. I got the new updated death certificate in to them within the week so about early-mid february. Since then I called probably 2-3 times in march and they just kept telling me they have everything they need but it’s still pending/under review. The last person I spoke to in march told me she saw it was taking a while and would send a letter to give me more info on why it was taking so long, it took more than 2 weeks for the letter to arrive I literally had to call them to ask if they even sent it and when I got it it was essentially an overview of what they offer and how it works and not a single thing about my specific situation. I called again and since then i’ve called probably twice a week and they just keep saying pending pending pending. Then finally last week a woman tells me she’s going to have the examiner reach out to me directly and that if i didn’t hear from her by yesterday to call again and ask to speak to the examiner then. I didn’t hear so I called again today and am put on hold for 20 minutes while they try to find the examiner. They come back and tell me they can’t find the examiner and that she had tried to reach out to me but couldn’t get a hold of me which is false because i have no missed calls or messages and i told them as much and they said they’d make a note of that. I then told them specifically what hours to call me (on my lunch break) and gave my email so she could do that if she wanted. I am so frustrated and their website said these claims should process within 60 days and it has been longer than that. I have no idea what to do this is so unprofessional of them i feel like this company is something of a joke it’s so hard to get ahold of anyone and nobody knows any answers and the fact that many people need this money in a timely manner in order to pay for services for their loved ones and gerber is making it so difficult is devastating I feel lucky that my family was able to help out and pay for it at the time but i do still need this money to reimburse them. I am so angry and I don’t know if I should be contacting a lawyer at this point or what.
