Hi, I recently bought an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor. It arrived with some bent pins (they didn't give me a refund). I straightened the pins myself; I had nothing to lose. My PC booted fine with that configuration, and the processor was detected normally in the BIOS. The problem is that when I try to install Windows, it restarts.
I tried another processor I had on hand to confirm if it was the processor. I used a Ryzen 3 3200G. This one allowed me to install Windows normally and has worked fine. I assumed that the problem was with the Ryzen 5 5600G processor.
I lent this processor to a friend, and it worked perfectly. He was able to play games and perform other tasks normally (it's worth noting that the processor was always used with integrated graphics). So what could it be? According to a technician, it's not the RAM either.
My PC specs:
Ryzen 5 5600g / Ryzen 3 3200g
Gigabyte A520MK V2 rev 1.1
16GB DDR4 RAM
Iceberg 700-BX 80+ Plus
My friend's specs:
ASRock AM4 A520M Phantom Gaming 4
16GB RAM
Ryzen 5 5600GT / Ryzen 5 5600G (my processor)
I really don't know what to do.
