It was either a novel or a short story. It ends with the protagonist carrying out a mass shooting before he’s shot dead by the police. I think the entire scene was described in only five sentences. I know TV Tropes mentioned it at some point, but that was years ago.

Revy tends to refer to Shenhua as "Chinglish". Simple enough. But in the original Japanese, she refers to her as "yes lady". Is that some kind of racist slur there I’m too stupid to understand?
