Helping teen through grief (TW: Suicide)

On Monday of this week one of my 16-year old daughter's best friends committed suicide. It was very unexpected for everyone - they had all just gotten together on Sunday for a hike, her friend was posting "best day ever!" on everyone's instagram posts. She was the sweetest, kindest person. We're all devastated.
My daughter does not want to go to counselling. She did not go to the same high school as her friend so nothing is offered through the school and she's feeling a bit alone because there aren't other people grieving with her. She tried to go to school yesterday but said that there were just too many triggers, which I understand.
I just can't help feeling like my daughter is never going to be the same after this. As much as I am crying for the lost of her friend, I'm also crying for the change I know is coming for my daughter. Anyone who has been through this that can offer some wise advice?
