I [30M] am reeling after what my wife [30F] did. At her 30th birthday party, in front of everyone, she made a 'joke' about how I wasn't her usual type but I was the 'safe' choice she had to settle for. She called me the 'minivan of husbands.'

I thought it was just the drinks talking, but I found her journals. It turns out she’s been holding onto feelings for someone from her past and seeing me as a backup plan. I feel completely betrayed.
