Has there ever been talk of a river surf park being built at one of the rivers running near town? Obviously there are other much more pressing issues that the city should feed funds into, however, this would be a blast during warmer months.

I’m from the NW, and Bend, OR has a textbook model of this right near city central. Great videos on YouTube if you haven’t seen river “surfing” before. Occasionally, depending on conditions, this can executed organically, some manufacturing and formation can dial in prime conditions for playboating and such.
