I rarely leave reviews, but this was such a poor experience that it needs to be documented. My experience with Aristide was unacceptable from start to finish. Given the premium pricing, I expected professionalism, transparency, and quality. Instead, I encountered carelessness, misrepresentation, and what feels like deliberate deception.

Issue #1: Ignored Instructions & Shipped the Wrong Size

I ordered a size 52 in the no-logo men’s polo. After receiving QC photos with measurements, I immediately responded that the 52 was too large and clearly requested a size 50 instead. This message was either ignored or outright disregarded.

Despite my correction, the order was pushed through and shipped anyway, and I was then asked to pay for shipping on an order I had already flagged as incorrect. When I followed up, Aristide claimed the polos could not be returned to the factory—which is highly questionable given the timing.

To “resolve” their mistake, they offered a $11 discount on a future order. Frankly, this was insulting. It shows a complete lack of accountability and respect for the customer.

Issue #2: False Advertising on Materials

I ordered a “cashmere” long sleeve shirt priced at $65. Upon arrival, I translated the tag and found it is actually 100% cotton. This is not a minor discrepancy, it is blatant deception. Charging premium prices for a product that is materially different from what was advertised is completely unacceptable.

Issue #3: Defective Item Hidden in QC Photos

I also purchased a Zegna cashmere vest for $250. When it arrived, I immediately noticed a visible flaw at the top of the zipper—the gray leather is clearly stained/marked. This defect was not disclosed and appears to have been intentionally hidden or obscured in the QC photos.

This is not a subtle issue. It is in a highly visible area that stands out when the vest is worn. Spending $250 on a visibly flawed item is unacceptable by any standard.

Final Thoughts

This entire experience felt dishonest. Between ignored instructions, misleading product descriptions, and undisclosed defects, I have zero confidence in Aristide’s integrity as a seller.

I would strongly advise others to avoid ordering from Aristide. The pricing suggests a premium experience, but the reality is the opposite.
