Looking for resources and help to manage family of abandoned kitties!
Looking for advice on resources to get flea treatment, food, and/or check-ups, ect for the this family of cats that showed up on our doorstep this morning.
My folks and I made sure that the community cats in our neighborhood were spayed/neutered through the TNR program, haven't seen a kitty nor pregnant mama in 2 years. This morning this nursing (VERY skinny) mama and her kittens showed up frightened but starving, going through TWO 22oz cans of catfood in one go.
As sweet as they are, we are low income and unable to care for all of them. ISO of any resources or help on next steps. GHHS says their hands are tied and unable to help. No response yet from Huntsville Animal Services.
We are on the North side of HSV, transportation is limited.
