Walmart bird, rice and broccoli!
The situation:
I got my dream job, and I told my best friend in the entire world this but the first thing she asked was “well what’s the salary?”
She then proceeded to crap all over every detail and benefit of the job, and tell me I was stupid to be happy about this. That I needed to stay at my current job. I’m having trouble figuring out if she’s actually just being mean, or if she’s being supportive like she claims she is. This is the first time in 5 years of friendship that she’s reacted like this to anything I’ve told her so I don’t know how to feel.
For context: I worked at a rental car place delivering cars from 7:30am until whenever they decided I can go home. Monday is my first day in a hospital as a monitor tech.
I told her I was gonna take the job anyways, and now she’s super dry to me. She won’t return my calls. So yeah. Should I just get over it? Thanks ladies ❤️
