Macbook -> Dell docking station -> Samsung monitor
I have a WD19TB Dell docking station and Samsung S24C200BL Monitor leftover from various jobs. I am trying to connect my personal 2019 Macbook Pro to these devices, however I am running into trouble.
Both the monitor and the Macbook turn on while connected to the docking station, however the monitor is not an available display option on my Macbook. The Macbook is connected through the thunderbolt that comes with the dock and receives a charge, and the monitor is connected to a power source and to the HDMI and Display Port plugs on the dock.
I have tried unplugging/replugging everything, resetting the dock, updating the Macbook all to not avail, as well as installing DisplayLink Manager (Apple never prompted accessory connection permission, so another dead end).
What am I missing?!
