so looks like a need a new PSU to replace my aging ~8yr old Corsair AX850...

i've narrowed it down to two models...

fractal ion 3 gold 1000w
corsair rm850x

(prices in aud)
fractal on sale from ~$250 to $199
corsair ~189
so similar cost to me

fractal is made by seasonic
corsair made by CWT

Aware seasonic/cwt can make good/bad models and it might not matter
corsair been on the market longer /reliability has been noted as good...fractal is a who knows at this stage> both are 10yr warranty? from what i've seen

which would you pick and why?
