Trapped with him
This past weekend, him (40m) and I (24f) got into a large blowout. He tried to put his hands on my cat, then tried to throw said cat outside so I flipped out. He ended up putting hands on me, I tried to defend myself but he was quick to say "remember who's stronger than you". Cops had to come twice but they didn't really do anything. I was thrown into walls, onto the floor, down the stairs. I've documented all of my bruises. Obviously we aren't speaking but I'm 2 months into a one year lease with him and neither of us really have anywhere to go. I lost most of my friends and my family because of this relationship. The breakup alone is already painful, but everything else that happened with it makes it so much worse. And having to see him every day isn't helping at all. He told me the landlords "don't want me here because I called the cops", and I just saw the letter he's writing to them where he's spinning a story of how I'm the abuser (said I threw his dryer at him? I can't even do a pushup). I feel like an idiot for not listening to the things his exes said about him, and the warnings they posted. He has two children he has no access to, he doesn't even pay child support. I know I'm stupid for just ignoring every red flag in my face and I'm sorry. Im just hoping anyone on here can maybe offer some advice, thank you in advance :')
