1965 ih2504 (industrial series) loader/hoe

Built in the booming metropolis of American post war production with American steel, iron, 100% American made. Back when you got more than what you actually paid for. Back when companies cared about their consumers. This backhoe front loader still functions completely, it's 61 years old and runs like a top. It's just unbelievable that I still work the hell out of this thing everyday almost 365 days a year, and it's 61 years old.

No major repairs, just alternator, carb, hydraulic hoses, pump, etc. Engine and trans have never needed overhaul. Knock on wood 🪵

The fact that this old timer is still sluggin' is a testament to how incredible these were built. Almost 20k lbs, bent my gooseneck trailer rated at 15k 😆

1st they started with the propaganda, villainizing vaping. Even though it's SIGNIFICANTLY HEALTHIER. Then they eliminated flavored vape juice, now NOBODY will ship nicotine concentrate to NYS.

For the past 6 years (vaping everyday, all day). It would only cost me on average about $180 per year to make my whole entire yearly Supply of Vape juice. I believe it's around 5% nicotine by volume.

In the last year despite spending hours and hours looking for a company that will ship the 100% nicotine solution to NYS I couldn't find anybody who will anymore.

Locally it's like 30 or $40 for 120 ml of premixed juice. I go through a bottle a week at least. Maybe more.

Luckily I live on the PA border. ☺️ I just drove 20 minutes down there, got a PO Box for $50 that lasts 6 months. I called around to different suppliers in the nation, found one that will ship to my Pennsylvania PO box and I just got my first order.

This is ridiculous. I have to go to these lengths now. I hate NYS.

This one is a 1960's tractor engine, inline 4. I believe its a big block industrial 4 cyl. Cast iron block, heads, etc. From back in the day when they just brutally over built everything. I would imagine these types are closed deck with super thick cylinder walls, forged cranks, forged rods perhaps from the factory. Reinforced pistons with massive ringland. From post war American production when the steel was incredible & there wasn't this modern bullshit "value engineering".

I always wondered how much power you can get out of these with a modern MLS head gasket, fuel injection, electronic ignition, etc. They'd probably take whatever you could throw at them as long as you didn't exceed 4k rpm.

I'm guessing they're stroked to hell with insane low end torque. You'd probably have to pair it to a heavy diesel transmission and still snap your driveshafts or shred your differentials. 😆

My dream is to try one someday if I have time & money. Anyone ever done it on here? Are they brick shit houses? I got one on my ancient backhoe. Goals.
