I’ve got a brand new ASUS TUF F16 (2026) with the i7-14650HX and RTX 5060, and I’m hitting a wall with random restarts and black screen hangs that only seem to happen during low-load tasks like browsing Chrome or watching YouTube. The weird part is that the laptop is a beast under pressure—I can run Warframe for an hour at 120 FPS without a single hiccup—but then it will just suddenly reboot after 4 hours of simple web surfing. My Reliability Monitor is flagging these as LiveKernelEvent 117 "Watchdog" hardware errors, which usually point to a driver or power-state timeout. I’ve already updated the BIOS, disabled Fast Startup, and checked my temps (hits 96} in games but crashes at 50 while idle), and I just switched to Standard Mode with NVIDIA "Prefer Maximum Performance" to see if that stops the GPU from timing out. Is this a common issue with the new 50-series Blackwell drivers or 14th Gen Intel power management, and should I be looking at a return or waiting for a software fix?
