I got two Invisalign quotes and I’m trying to decide between them. Both are orthodontic offices, both include insurance, and both have good reviews. Just looking for perspective on which makes more sense overall.

💰 Provider A

  • ~$3.4K out-of-pocket after insurance
  • Single orthodontist oversees entire treatment
  • 3D treatment plan available upon request before starting
  • Unlimited refinements included
  • All check-up appointments included
  • 1 set of clear retainers included at the end
  • Treatment details (like attachments/IPR/elastics) finalized after digital planning
  • Slightly less convenient location for me

Pros:

  • Lower cost
  • One doctor consistency
  • Unlimited refinements
  • More flexibility during treatment

Cons:

  • Less upfront detail before starting
  • Less convenient travel

💰 Provider B

  • ~$3.8K out-of-pocket after insurance
  • Multiple orthodontists involved in treatment
  • Full treatment simulation shown after starting process
  • Includes attachments, IPR, and elastics in initial plan
  • Up to 5 refinement rounds included
  • All appointments included every 2–3 months
  • 1 set of clear retainers included at end
  • Much closer / easier for me to get to

Pros:

  • Very convenient location
  • More upfront explanation of treatment mechanics
  • Established multi-doctor system

Cons:

  • Higher cost
  • Refinements capped (5 sets)
  • Multiple doctors involved instead of one consistent orthodontist

⚖️ What I’m trying to decide between

  • Better long-term flexibility + slightly lower cost vs
  • Easier access + more structured clinic system

❓ My question

Which option would you pick and why?
Is single-doctor consistency actually worth it over convenience and proximity?
