How I induced my period

How I induced my period

So I’m usually pretty regular with my cycle every month, but this time it was late. My birthday is coming up in a week and I’ve also been working out a lot getting ready for a cruise, plus I’ve been pretty stressed (which I’m guessing is part of why it was delayed). I really didn’t want to be on my period during my first cruise.

I ended up going down a rabbit hole and, since I’ve been getting more into herbs lately, I read that raspberry leaf tea and ginger are commonly talked about for potentially helping support uterine contractions and getting things moving (nothing is guaranteed, obviously, just stuff I kept seeing).

So I made myself a cup before bed, used a heating pad on the lowest setting, and just relaxed. Within about an hour I started cramping, and by around 10 PM I started my period.

Just sharing my experience for anyone curious. Ingredient links listed below 👇

Manuka Honey: https://a.co/d/0dYzbyiV

Light Lemonade: https://a.co/d/03WDU8Cn

Monk Fruit Sweetener: https://a.co/d/0eV0v6B8

Instructions:

1.	In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup lemonade. Bring to a boil.

2.	Add the raspberry leaf tea bag and ginger peach tea bags.

3.	Reduce heat to low and let the tea simmer, allowing it to steep fully for a stronger flavor.

4.	Remove from heat once desired strength is reached.

5.	Sweeten with honey and/or monk fruit sweetener if desired, adjusting to taste.

6.	Serve warm.

Note: Best enjoyed as a single cup in the evening.
