Will a snapdragon cpu laptop be compatible with software used in an accounting major?

I’ve looked at the Zenbook S16/S14 and really like it, however I’ve seen some complaints about it getting hot.

I’ve also looked at the vivobook s14 and Lenovo yoga 7i aura edition
