Which gpu to get: rtx5070 or rx9070 along with what monitor to get

Shall I get a rtx 5070 or a rx 9070 for my first pc build to pair with r5 9600x.

I am getting 9070 around 80 dollars cheaper than 5070 which for me is a lot of saving.

From what I have researched 9070 has much better raw performance but now recommend after factoring in ray and path tracing, frame gen, driver updates and which is future proof.

Mainly its for gaming but I will be starting graphic rendering work along with some video editing. Apart from that I am an engineering student pursuing machine learning so I need my pc for AI stuff later too.

Recommend me on the monitor(this with respect to only gaming) between 1080p and 1440p I currently have 1600x900 monitor and I feel a good fhd monitor will be hell of a upgrade but I keep on getting suggestions that I should get 1440p for the experience. Will 1440p be worth the price difference or 1080p will give me a similar experience in gaming with RT.

I don't value the specifications or what the face value of the part is, if it gives me a good experience I will go for it, so please tell with which product I will get a good experience while factoring in prices and requirements. Which choices are more value for money

Regarding Summer sem

The Summer sem notice just came on ims, so please clear my doubts.

  1. In exam only mode for improvement you just have to come to give the exams and cts right?

  2. And in the improvement, are your internal marks carried on your from your previous sem or new internals would be there?

  3. Is there a maximum cg criteria for improvement? That you can't get beyond this

  4. What is the difference between giving an improvement in regular sem vs Summer sem (tell in context to Exam only mode)
