I just needed a heat block and every replacement online is a whole set including the heating element and the temperature sensor and they were 3 times as expensive as before because ender 3 s1 pro is phased out. The prices went from ₱600 to somewhere around 2k. Then i came across a mini cnc machine online which was 9k and thought that i could make my own heat block but the cnc machine was too expensive, then i just started making one myself. Now im here stuck on like 10 different side quests building up to making my own cnc machine. I started with a cnc welder. Which will help me weld parts for the frame of the cnc machine, then now im making a cnc laser cutter/engraver, which will help me laser cut parts for the cnc machine. And after making the cnc machine, im just gonna straight up build my own 3d printer with a bigger build volume using the guts of my ender 3 s1 pro.
I went from wanting a heat block to making a cnc machine and a 3d printer.
Has any of you guys taken 1 small thing this far?
