I’m a newbie with a few months of experience under my belt, I bought this machine brand new and one day. I was sewing something when the needle got caught so bad that I was not able to move the hand wheel and either way and had to take it apart a little bit and it hasn’t been the same ever since.

It seems to do all right with straight stitches, although I have to proceed with caution because sometimes I feel it catch in a weird way, but after messing around with the timing from below and adjusting the needle bar also, I feel like I fixed it a little bit.

But now every time I do a zigzag stitch I am terrified that the something worse will happen cause I feel it catch every now and then.
Sometimes I’ll be able to backtrack and undo it with the flywheel and I’ll be able to sew again and sometimes it’s just so bad I won’t be able to do anything and I have to take the needle out and take apart the base plate to free everything up.

As far as I know, I’m using the right needle using the right bobbin and although my tensions may not be perfect all the time, I feel like I’m for the most part using a decent/right tension.

I almost at my breaking point and want to just send it in to get repaired, but at the same time I want to learn how to fix this and diagnose it properly so that I can fix it in the future and not have to rely on anyone else.

Should I just start all over again and try and time it again ?? Any tips and tricks /videos anyone can recommend??
