screen flickers like crazy when i layer samples (read text)
this has never happened before when i was using fl studio - which i was sampling a lot with.
now, even small layers of samples for drum tracks can make my screen go crazy and the cubase interface can even remain froze on my pc for a couple of minutes even after closing the software.
before you suggest for me to buy a better cpu or update my drivers or wtv, please note that my pc can run ANY software without issue (after effects, adobe, ableton, heavy games…). this issue only happens with cubase, and after checking the task manager i can tell for a fact that nothing looks wrong / saturated process-wise. im afraid its gonna damage my screen at some point.
any recommendation on how to fix this ? my former version of cubase (10.5 element) had never behaved like that. i’m using cubase pro 15 rn.
