Hi, today I was trying to reinstall windows as my windows was quite buggy. So I went to reinstall it and my disk partition was all messed up so I did the commands to list disk, select then disk part and then clean (not clean all). But i ended up doing that on the wrong disk so I cancelled it and then it wouldn't let me get back into my computer as it said there was no operating system.
So I unplugged both my hard drives to not lose data and so only the ssd remained which I could install windows on. And after installing windows I lost all data on my ssd as expected BUT since I had cleaned my other disk (E drive) once I plugged it back in it was showing empty. So I ran a tool called MyRecover and scanned me e drive and found all data was still there but its all completely scrambled as its organised each file by its own file type into thousands of little folders. There's 2 million files its located and it's impossible to go and reorganise everything myself. I have all of my university work, software and lots of other stuff on that hard drive and I really need it back.
Is there any way for me to unscramble it all and try and get everything back into their original folders or am I doomed? This is impossible to do manually so I really need help if anyone has got a solution.
Thanks in advance.
