Just wanted to share something regarding the onboarding delays and Cisive BGV for people who are worried.

I contacted Cisive support directly. I’m based in India, and they told me my verification is still in process because they are waiting for responses from Indian authorities/judiciary records, which apparently can take time. According to them, they send verification requests and wait for confirmation before clearing the candidate.

So from what I understood, the delay is mostly related to the verification process itself and response times from Indian systems, not necessarily an issue with the candidate or automatic rejection.

My onboarding date also passed and I’m still waiting, so seems like this is happening with multiple people.

Hey guys, I recently got an offer for the AI Language Tutor role (6-month contractor via Remote). The description mentions an average of 10 hours per week, but I'm trying to figure out what the actual workload looks like.

For those currently working this role:

1. Is the work consistent, or is it unpredictable with a lot of dry spells?

2. Are you usually capped around 10 to 20 hours, or is there actually enough work available to hit 40 hours a week? (I saw someone mention that even contractors can work up to 40 hours if they want).

Would love to hear from anyone currently doing this.
