Posted in here a few days ago about some brown spotting i’ve been having for the last week. Had my first scan today and saw a heartbeat and they couldn’t find any reason at all for the bleed (shock- same happened last time and ended in mc).

Anyway they prescribed me progesterone which i just took the first one 2hrs ago and since then ive had way more brown bleeding with bits in than i’ve had in the last week so obviously now im freaking out.

Can anyone share what to expect while taking this? Did anyone else have this initial bleed? I know it’s so recent and it’s not a miracle cure but i really was hoping it would stop the bleed not immediately make it worse

So i had a MC in Feb at 9w with my first pregnancy. I’d been spotting brown blood consistently from 5w up until when it happened. Had 4 scans in those 3 weeks and all looked good until it didn’t. They never found the cause of the bleeding.

I’m now pregnant again and currently around 6w2d and just started brown spotting again yesterday. Honestly i’m spiralling and i don’t think i can cope with this again. I don’t want to go to the EPU and have horrible internal scans done again just for them to say all looks good again, that made the loss more painful last time. So i’m left with just sitting here waiting for the worst to happen.

I’m not really looking for anything here i just needed to vent. Why does no one ever talk about how hard emotionally the first trimester is? This isn’t how i expected pregnancy to be at all, so far my experiences suck.
