I spent my adult life avoiding vinyl because I knew it’d be a hobby I’d blow too much money on. I knew my finances couldn’t handle the amount I would spent on records so I just never started.
About a year ago I was fortunate enough to land a new job in my industry that paid a lot more money, and decided to head to my local record shop. I bought a turntable and a Turnover record.
12 months later I have more the 200 records. Luckily I don’t have any kids and my partner doesn’t mind me spending money on us having good music to listen to in the evenings and weekends.
Really enjoying the hobby and the community here. Learned a lot from you guys and gals. I’d love any recommendations you all have based on what you see in my collection already.
