Quick question regarding annual leave cash out.

I’m a part-time Woolworths employee on a 19.5-hour weekly contract. In 2025, I cashed out annual leave three times, and each time was 19.5 hours, so 58.5 hours total.

I was trying to understand the annual leave cash-out rules. I originally thought there was a 2-week limit per 12 months, which for me would be 39 hours, but I’m not sure if that rule applies under the Woolworths Australian Food Group Agreement 2024 or only under certain awards/general rules.

Does anyone know whether Woolworths part-time employees under the 2024 agreement can cash out more than 2 weeks of annual leave in a year, as long as they still have at least 4 weeks of annual leave remaining after each cash-out?

Just trying to understand whether the limit is based on:

  1. a maximum number of cash-out requests per year,
  2. a maximum number of hours/weeks per year, or
  3. simply needing to keep at least 4 weeks of annual leave balance after each cash-out.
