just went inside a specialty cafe for the first time and ordered a flat white.
it was good but I swear the coffee I make at home in a moka and grind myself is much tastier.
I think it convinced me for sure I don’t need to buy an espresso machine.
I know you're skeptical and it sounds a bit ridiculous but bear with me on this.
I won't elaborate a lot but for a long time my life was stuck or deteriorated and I had a lot of bad habits that negatively affected my physical and mental health, lifestyle and career.
Then, one tiny thing I did different - I bought a KingGrinder K6 manual coffee grinder and started doing daily 10 minute rituals making coffee in a moka pot. Every single day, multiple times per day. I started watching hours of videos about coffee and how to perfect the technique and flavour.
I don't know exactly why and how but something about that slow mindful daily ritual and effort I was making into learning a new skill clicked some gears in my brain and re-awakened long dormant neural pathways that were last used when I was a university student 4 years ago.
That little thing started a momentum and chain reaction of me completely changing my life and habits for the better. I feel much more productive, optimistic and full of energy than ever before.
