My dad refuses to help me because I'm female
I'm afab but I have PCOS, and I grow a pretty shocking amount of facial hair. I've been begging my dad to show me how to properly shave my face, but he refuses to because 'girls shouldn't shave their faces' and he always tells me to get a wax instead. Waxing is expensive and it hurts, and all I want to know is literally just how to avoid ingrowns when I have to shave. My face always ends up red and irritated with ingrowns every time I shave and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Dads, could y'all give me some advice or pointers on proper facial shaving? I'm tired of hurting my skin shaving.
