Roald Dahl's children could be straight out of 2025

I've been listening to the podcast "The Secret World of Roald Dahl" and was surprised by how modern the names of his children sound, despite being born in the 1950s and 60s. His five children with Patricia Neal were:

  • Olivia (# 350 in 1955, # 1 today)
  • Tessa (unranked in 1957, # 311 today)
  • Theo (unranked in 1960, # 82 today)
  • Ophelia (unranked in 1964, # 264 today)
  • Lucy (# 307 in 1965, # 24 today)

Tessa's given name was actually Chantal Sophia, and while Chantal doesn't fit the trend well, Sophia certainly does! Anyway, couldn't you just see a family today using this exact combination of names?
