I’m based in Ontario, Canada, and I’m curious if anyone here has purchased a violin from Fiddlershop or Corilon rather than buying from a local shop.

If you did, I’d love to hear:

• What made you choose buying online over going to a local violin shop?
• How did you find the experience (shipping, setup, sound compared to expectations)?
• Did you feel you got better value, selection, or information online?
• Any issues with customs, returns, or trying instruments remotely from Canada?
