hi, i'm new here (literally created this account an hour ago) and i have no clue how reddit works, nor if there are any rules (if we don't count, like, the obvious things like no slurrs in a degratory way etc.) so i apologise if i overstep any.

also, i have no idea if i can post this on this subreddit but... uh... yea, the mdzs one is not really working lol

Anyway, as you've probably guessed from the title, i'm searching for a fic that was originally posted on AO3.

the odds of any of you finding it or even reading this are small, but please! i've obsessed over it for a few weeks now (even though i've read it like a year ago) and i can't find it anywhere (the AO3 filter is not helpful). i would normally give up by now, but my weird brain won't stop bugging me about it and for once, i'd actually want to fall asleep without spending two hours thinking about random sentences that i remember from it.

also, idk how to describe things...

so, as i have said, it was on AO3, a multichapter fic with an available podfic (deduced from a line that went as following 'Meng-fucking-yao?!' said by WWX). it had more than 5000 words, that i'm sure of.

it was a JC/LXC fic in mainly LXC's POV (i think) set in the modern era. it featured a past toxic relationship of JGY/LXC- LXC will be working out the trauma inflicted on him from that relationship throughout the fic.

the secondary pairings were LWJ/WWX and JGY/QS (who were not blood related)
there were also background pairings, namely JYL/JZX, JFM/purple spider and i think a mentioned (very briefly) JC/WQ.

i think the first chapter was a bit spicy, but the amount of angst there kinda overruled it (LXC almost having a panic attack).

then he was invited to go to the Jiang family brunch (happening on a weekday, i think) and he goes, even though jgy will be there. there will be a pregnancy reveal (JL) and jfm will make it about wwx (to the displeasure of everyone but jfm) by saying the following- 'did you hear that wy? you're gonna be an uncle'. then it gets worse because jgy announces qs's pregnancy too (before those two jin dizasters come, jyl hords wwx,jc and lxc in the kitchen and tells them about her suspicions that qs is being abused).

anyway, the brunch is done and everyone goes home.

then i can't remember anything up untill there's the reveal as to why wwx holds a grudge against jgy- because jgy send wwx 'brother'- mxy- into a psych ward.

then something happens, can't remember, and suddenly, there's a restraining order against jgy happening because qs finally had enough.

jgy then politely 'threathens' lxc into... something (?) but before lxc can panic, wwx appears out of nowhere and almost beats the crap out of jgy.

then it ends. i... don't feel like i did justice to the fic, since this doesn't even brush on the layers and layers of angst there actually are, but this is the best that i've got.

I‘m very new to this whole ‘post on Reddit’ thing, English is my third language and I originally made this account only to check on fandoms, but life has started going downhill for… well, mostly everyone in my family, so I decided to check out this subreddit for help.

I’m not going to get into the heavy details, but the only one normal right now is the middle child of my parents and only because their brain is 90% air, 5% world war 2 facts and the rest just recycled air.

Anyway, the youngest is freshly ten and has trouble speaking due to a birth condition- that makes him an easy target to bully for kids, who, in some cases, are just worse than adults.

The youngest has gone to the same school as I had and the middle child is currently attending. Both of us hate it there- but I dare to say that my resentment comes from the verbal aggression coming from some of my former classmates rather than the teaching methods that the middle child detests.

I was very unhappy when the youngest was also enrolled in the same school, but i kept quiet. After all, it was not my place to say anything- my parents are adults, they should have known that sending a child with an obvious ‘bully target’ painted on their back into a school they know has bullying problems was a bad idea.

Eventually, my suspicions about my youngest brother being bullied had been confirmed today when he came back home and told my mother that a classmate had kicked him in the face on the playground and another had, and I quote, “Picked up a painted stick and hit his legs with it”. of course, the teachers had been alerted, but aside from telling the boys to ‘not do it, it’s mean’, nothing happened.

i hate playing the prophet game, but I’m about 80% sure that tomorrow, the youngest will get another beating.

Let me just say this, I’d like for him to be transferred to another school, just so he doesn’t go home crying and make my hackles rise every time he clumsily tries to explain what happened. (Yes, very selfish, I know, but I’ve never claimed to be a good person now did I?)

I am able to get to the school property just because I look like a student and because their security could be literally decoded by a toddler but I cannot hover around the kid like a helicopter since a) not my job b) I have school too.

so, what should I do Because this is not going to fix itself nor with adults.
