very very very new to mushroom foraging, and I would appreciate any identification you can give. I found these may 8 2026 in a mixed forest of both deciduous and conifers, with species like elm, oak, and choke cherry. they were growing on a fallen log whose species I couldn’t identify. They do smell faintly of anise. these were picked in south east Michigan. thank you
