Why does it take 70 politicians for the PM to be "hanging by a thread"?
The BBC is saying that Starmer's career is hanging by a thread, as there is a "revolt" in the party.
Focusing only on the party numbers, how is this the narrative when there are 403 labour MPs and only 72 have publicly said they want him out? I am generally curious, as it is still 82% that supposedly support him.
I am genuinely curious, not trying to start a big argument.
